Go Try It On.
MARISSA
FOUNDER, CEO
Marissa brings several diverse years of marketing experience to the team, spending time with corporate giants such as Digitas, as well as small entrepreneurs (such as running her previous company, A Shirt Thing). Marissa attended Cornell University, and earned her MBA from Harvard Business School.
Marissa noticed that before heading out with her friends, the same words were always uttered. Whether it was friends from college, friends from business school, or friends from somewhere in between... at some point it came down to, "which should I wear?"
Her response was always the same. "Go try it on! I can't tell if it's just on the hanger. I need to see it on you to get the full look!"
She thought, wouldn't it be nice if there was a place where we could share photos and get feedback about "which outfit to wear"? Of course, it would need to be real time, and it would be even better if it was honest. No need to worry about hurting my feelings here, I just want to look my best!
...and GO TRY IT ON was born!
Marissa also likes comedy a lot and does improv with her team Poolside. She resides in New York, New York.

SIMON
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Simon's websites have been nominated for a variety of awards including a Webby. He attended Tufts University and studied Computer Science. His thin grasp on the fashion scene is gleaned mostly from a religious devotion to The Hills and The City. Before assuming his duties at GO TRY IT ON, he was one of the guys who creates those annoying online ads you hate so much.
FAVORITE CHILDHOOD GAME:
Clue.
(...NOT "Simon Says." That game is a cruel joke.)
IN A PERFECT WORLD, WHOSE OPINION WOULD I WANT ON MY LOOK?
Lo Bosworth, from The Hills.
MATT
ART DIRECTOR
Matt basically came out of the womb knowing how many pixels apart things need to be to look right. His knees have been weakened on more than one occasion by the particularly clever use of negative space. There is a vicious rumor floating around that he made a spelling error in 1994. His penchant for clean and tasteful design has actually helped to inform his fashion acumen, which wouldn't be caught dead within a 10 mile radius of Ed Hardy or any of Ed's immediate family.

JESSIE
MARKETING DIRECTOR
Jessie is a Chicago girl who moved to NYC to pursue her career in fashion and journalism, first working as a marketing intern at Guerlain and then as a fashion news writer/reporter for PeopleStyleWatch.com. Jessie attended Indiana University and studied Journalism, Spanish and Apparel Merchandising.
In addition to writing, Jessie has always used fashion as a form of expression. Whether it was waltzing into kindergarten dressed as a cowgirl or jumping on the moccasin train far before they became cool, she has always made a statement with style.
As part of the GO team, Jessie is excited to combine her skills in writing, marketing and fashion to ultimately change the way people dress.
Things she holds sacred: dogs (Cosmo), chocolate, dancing, vegging with family and friends, rompers, Harper's Bazaar, Sex and the City and Beverly Hills 90210 (the original, and as far as she's concerned, the only one that ever existed.)

SCOTT
WEB APPLICATION ENGINEER
Scott is the only GO TRY IT ON team member born and raised in New York. He attended Stony Brook University's College of Business and spent the beginnings of his career as a software consultant for Cole Systems Associates.
He has been a computer geek ever since his kindergarten teacher looked at his handwriting and told his mother that the computer would be the way to go. He is a self taught software engineer, who isn't really at home without his Mac and a text editor open (and his dog Maxx at his side).
Music is his true passion and it would be surprising to see him walking around Manhattan without headphones in his ears. Scott's also only slightly ashamed to say that he's a die-hard Mets fan.

AMANDA
VP STRATEGIC MARKETING
Amanda has spent many years of her life straddling the line of fashion and tech. After she earned her degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (tech), she decided to set out to explore her passion for fashion. She enjoyed a diverse merchandising experience at Saks Fifth Avenue (fashion), before settling down with the GO TRY IT ON family - a perfect blend.
When she's not living and breathing work, Amanda spends her free time playing pick up sports with friends, and finding all the fabulous new places to eat (and drink) around NYC.

CAROLINE
OFFICE MANAGER
Caroline was born and raised in the Mile High City (woot woot!) and earned her degree in Communication and Media Studies from Fordham University. Before joining the Go Try It On team, Caroline worked at BBC Research & Consulting, a private economic and market research firm in Denver, and most recently at Boxing Kitten, a vintage-inspired women's fashion line that makes her heart go pitter-patter.
Things that make her happy: Tea, hot tamales, blue skies and low-humidity.
Things that don't make her happy: Slow walkers and high humidity.
FAVORITE CHILDHOOD GAME:

ASHISH
APPLICATION DEVELOPER
Ashish, already having explored the beaches of Goa and after living in Bangalore for a bit, was working in Singapore when GO TRY IT ON grabbed and brought him to New York City. He likes the food here a lot.
His first interaction with computers was with Microsoft Paint and he still thinks the original version of the program was the best photo editing software ever. This interaction quickly evolved into a love for all things tech, and he soon picked up hobby programming. Ashish’s first web programming task was during his first year of college when he was asked to create his department website... the rest is history.
Outside of work, Ashish likes to play ping-pong and enjoys a game of chess once a while. He doesn’t watch much TV and his taste in music is still trapped in the classic rock era.
