Go Try It On.
hi there! sign in?
I'm going to a work event (fashion industry) in a cold-weather place (aka it's not summertime, so I need tights). Is this outfit ok?

The dress is cute, but the shoes really throw me off, especially with the tights.

i loooove those shoes. they work well with the dress as well. might i suggest a lighter colored tight though? brown seems like it would be lovely.

While the shoes are probably fashionable, I personally don\'t like white with black tights. What about some great black boots?

Ooh, amazing print! I think I would like it sin tights, but understand the weather situation. B/C you are in fashion, booties work. Also, you can\'t go wrong with black pumps.

Love the fact that it is not another black dress - the print is quite interesting and it relates to the shoes. You can stand out in the right way for sure! Do you have a chic red belt to cinch in the dress though?

I\'d go with a nude tight and nude shoes -- let the dress be the star. White and black is only good sometimes... not this time.

Love the dress - so cute! I\'d love to see it paired with bare legs and some roughed up knee-high brown boots from Frye or something similar. The patent booties you\'re wearing right now are adorable, but not a good fit for this look - the contrast is too striking colorwise.

All the elements are good, but don\'t work together. Those shoes need a bare leg, and the tights need a darker shoe or boot. Try doing a black ankle bootie if you\'re set on keeping the tights.

This dress has a future as two throw pillows

Love this look on you for a fashion industry work event. Is the print navy/are the tights navy (can\'t tell from the pic)? You could try a lighter colored tight like another reviewer said but don\'t lose the contrast - I like it because it is unexpected and untraditional yet everything is coordinated and you\'ve made your statement.

i\'m not a big fan of those sort of patterns, but on you, it actually works.
yet, this is the classic not-too-daring look, i feel like you should add something that is more \"you\".

The shoe boots are what is not working for me -- the tights would be ok with dark boots

Love the dress - you could belt it if you want but I think a change of shoe would be a better option - the light color draws your eye to them. Takes away from the dress.

ahhh i love the dress! i like the color of the shoe i just think that you need something more understated so it doesn\'t compete with your dress. maybe it\'s the material of the shoe?

Cute! I like it all (shoes included) I would change the tights to blue (unless those already are, hard to tell).

If you\'re going to wear black tights pair them with a cool black bootie or other black heel. If you want to wear the nude booties switch too a nude tight. The contrast down at your feet takes away from the great print on the dress.

Dress is cute! The tights are wrong with those shoes. Either bring them closer together in hue, or get different shoes.

Love the dress...but think dark brown tights with high dark brown pumps would be better, and not distract from the print on the dress. I think the black tights and white shoes are just too much for the print. If you want to jazz it up, add a long necklace or bangles up the arm instead...

I think you need different tights- something like the green or orange in the dress would be good. I love the shoes but not with the black.

Love it! But I would change either the tights or the booties. I like the tights but the shoe needs to be dark. I like the booties with the dress as well but I would do like nude tights (not pantyhose!).

I think this is a great outfit - very fashion forward which is appropriate. I would go with some lighter tights - a brown or even a color but don\'t think the black looks terrible.

Not sure if its the tight or the shoe throwing me off here?? All are cute just paired together is throwing me off. If its cold why not opt for a pant with the shoes and a top with a similar print. Then add some accessories:)

Yes, you can definitely wear tights, but what about a nude, or orange pair to still match the dress and cover you up, but the black is odd man out in this outfit. Even a cute pair with a design, it won\'t offset the print of the dress just make you look whole lot fashion saavier!!! Have fun. And the shoes are great, just not against the dark dark tights

No, this outfit itsn\'t ok. Too many contrasting but similar colors going on. Keep the tights and shoes and pair with an entirely different dress. This pattern is not slimming.

every piece is great on it\'s own.
But not together.
It tries too hard.
a navy tight with brown boots would work.
Accessorize, and have fun!

Wow. For a fashion industry event I would consult a high end retailer and buy a new outfit. Nice legs.

I love everything but the shoes. The first alternative that popped into my head was a pair of black fringed boots like these: http://bit.ly/bpcnbW

I LOVE the Phillip Lim dress, but I don\'t think the shoes match; they\'re too white. Try darker heels or black booties!

Tights and shoes would look great with the same dress, if a solid color.

wait! why should i change this?
- this doesn't do you justice
- there's too much going on
- it needs something else
- it's the wrong size
- it's not right for this event
DONE!WHAT DO YOU THINK?
