love it!!!! Works fine for spring...maybe loose the boots and put some heels on to make it look less winter and more flirty.

From the pic it looks too heavy for Spring to me. I would definitely try swapping the boots for a flat thong sandal.

i think this dress could be cute for spring-- depending on the fabric. is it based in wool? or is it heavy? if not, it looks like it could be cute with some sandals/ bright accessories. i\'d say no to the boots because they seem a bit wintery with the dress. (the boots with a soft flowy springy dress would be super cool!)

Don\'t love these boots with it. I\'d go with tan heels or wedges. If you want to do dark heels, you need tights.

The dress is lovely and v. flatering. I\'d match it with flat shoes, or knee-high boots.

Love the dress, drop the boots. For spring, something lighter.

I think the boots are okay but would personally go with black shoes (cool flats or heels). Not sure why someone thinks you need black tights to wear with black shoes, that makes no sense.

The dress is great but those boots are not working well at all with it. Swear some great black or bronze sandals (flat or heeled) to make this owrk in the spring.

the boots dont work. they shorten your leg, the length of which is important in a shift dress. throw some little heels on and you\'ll be set.

Those boots don\'t go with it, maybe something different! I would just go for a strappy heel.

If you are going to wear the boots, I would do so right now, and put on a sheer pair of stockings on with it. As we are approaching summer though, I would suggest a sandal or heel with it. Also, spruce it up with a long necklace or a few bracelets :)

definitely not the boots in brown- maybe black. but for spring peep toe heels would be better.

The boots are a little much for spring especially when the dress is already so heavy. Switch them for a gladiator sandal or flip flop....something more light and casual.

It definitely works but try a colorful heel instead to make it more springy

Ok ditch the boots opt for some killer heels for a night out on the town. This looks like a going out dress, some dancing cocktails meeting the guy of your dreams. The boots ruin this dress:(

It can come into spring with strappier shoes, no boots. Would also be cute belted.

The dress is absolutely fine for spring (especially at night), and very cute. The boots absolutely do not go. For night, you might get away with a boot, but not those. Try a black one with a heel, or go with a pair of heels.

No boots...either a pair of black or gold peep-toe flats or a pair of peep-toe heels.
