Go Try It On.

Yes, I know the picture quality is shocking and I look like a midget. I have a job interview for a weekend position at a chemist in a few hours and I'm in desperate need of advice. I don't own any smart black trousers. I tried borrowing my mum's but she's 3 sizes bigger and nearly 6 feet tall, so that ended badly. I'm only 16, so I don't want to dress too old for my age. Are jeans ever ok?

Go for the outfit with the blazer - you can always take the blazer off during the interview if you think it is appropriate. Generally speaking jeans are not ok for a job interview but you are young so there is more leeway. Dressier jeans could also be fine for an interview in a more artistic or creative field. Never faded, worn, torn or super casual jeans.

The black blazer is very professional, I think it would be uncommon but nice for a 16 years old girl. As they\'re black, jeans aren\'t a bad choice. Stay calm and smile at the employer, you\'ll get the job!

Jeans are okay, I think, as long as they\'re not too tight, intact, and long. The darker the jeans, the more professional, so you\'re good there. I think wearing the jacket gives you an older look, but the jeans and top give you a younger edge, so you won\'t look too old. Besides, without the jacket, your shirt looks almost boxy. Stick with the jacket; good luck!

As a rule, jeans aren\'t ever a good idea for interviews - but - if it\'s all you have, then you just have to do what you have to do. I think you\'ve dressed them up nicely! Love the top & blazer!

I like it. Why don\'t you just wear a skirt instead? If it\'s cold out then wear tights or leggings under the skirt.

You definitely look better for a job interview with the blazer. Makes you look a lil bit more serious. Then the knoptop it\'s great.
