Depending on what you are doing in the city would determine which outfit. You look great in the shorts and they would be good if you are doing things like going to a zoo, a park, outdoor concert, that sort of thing. The dress looks great and is probably more versatile. This would be suitable for restaurants (as opposed to delis, and sandwich shops), museums, shows as well as what was mentioned above...

Second outfit (dress) for sure. But I would lose the brown purse and use a white or black on instead. The necklace also seems a bit busy. I would go for a simpler chain.

#2 is super cute and the flip flops should still make it comfortable. I think #1 would be too casual for the city.

you could wear the dress out and about, keep it cas w/ flip floppy sandles. i\'d funk it with a shorter necklace and some bangles

I like the second outfit best as I agree that it\'s more versatile (you can take it from day to night easily); but if you\'re planning on shopping, you will want to wear both a top and bottom piece in case you want to try on shirts or pants.
