If you do the chunky jewelry thing, you might try black. And whatever you do, you need super-high heels with this dress! Those low heels you\'re wearing just won\'t cut it!

One thing you could try is going for chunky jewelry, like white. A necklace and bracelet should do it. Or you could put on a well-tailored black blazer. If you\'re going super-fancy, I\'d try a whole mess of diamonds at your neck. I definitely think your hair needs to be up, though. The cut of it really compliments your shoulders, so don\'t take away from that by having your hair down.

Greta dress & you have the figure for it. Depending on your taste& coloring, I\'d wear several various chains/beads in a toursade style (check out J Crew, Ann Taylor Loft etc for examples of how this looks)...it makes a contemporary \"statement\" in either gold or silver & can have some pearls or colored or clear \"stones\" in it as well. If you do a bold necklace keep...

I would hem this dress about an inch or maybe less even. Add a skin color heal. If you are willing to tailor more, then you could take the bow fabric and take it off and make this a one shoulder dress, similar to :

The dress is hot. I\'m thinking pale gold sky high peep toes, a clutch and some old school gold earrings with bling. Then part your hair on the side and get some waves going (dita von teese like) as well as red lippy and you will look classic and sexy.

The cinched waist is always flattering but I would actually alter the dress to showcase your legs to its best by taking it up 3 inches higher; as well as remove the excess material/bow bc it is really distracting and limits the accesories u can use. Doing this would actually give you more options in my opinion

Love the dress, and you look fantastic. I agree that higher heels would be good. But also, you mentioned wanting to make it a bit more exciting: what about heels in an unexpected color? For some reason I keep visualizing purple heels with this, and loving it. Agree with the suggestion of accessories, and maybe a statement hair piece including a touch of purple...you know, to go with your heels.

silver or pearl would look great with this, i think!
go to a store like icing or another fairly cheap accessories store. since it\'s strapless, you should probably focus on a fancy, elaborate necklace (i know i\'ve seen $20 necklaces that are truly fantastic). some nice matching bracelets and earrings wouldn\'t go amiss either
