I like the skirt but think it would look better with a top that tappers at the waist. Loose the shoes

I have a shirt from AE that is this exact shape, and since I already have curves, it took me a bit to figure out how to wear it, but I finally did. Flounce on flounce. Try pairing it with a full, A-line skirt so the line looks continuous, and then put a belt around the smallest part of your waist. It also works well tucked into high-waisted skirts.

Top doesn\'t work because: Spaghetti straps not good for your shape, it doesn\'t define your waist and it\'s a little too long. The way the fabric flares out at the bottom is a good idea structurally, though.

Loose waist and ruffle add bulk to your midsection. Maybe try a slim belt to give definition?

I like the shoes with that skirt, and I like the shirt, I just don\'t think that the shirt works with that skirt. The fact that it flows out at the bottom of the shirt is not very flattering.
