If you\'re going for a super-casual look, this would work. The outfit flatters your figure. I would definitely add some accessories, a necklace or scarf and a bracelet. How about a wedge sandal instead of the closed-toe shoe or boot?

The whole thing is pretty bland, but I have the most issue with the shoes. Very outdated. Try mixing it up with a cute, embellished flat or mild heel. That and some jewelry would do wonders!

I really like the top on you, but if its for a night out, I would dress it up a bit with jewelry. Check out Jcrew they just got some amazing new stuff

Not a huge fan of these jeans. Invest in a dark denim wash (boot cut) or 70\'s flare. James makes some great ones.

I think you need to add some excitement to this outfit, especially if you want to wear it for a night out. I like the military style shirt but if you added higher heels (or some great boots), jewelry, a belt, etc. it would make the outfit a lot more interesting and evening approp

would suggest changing the top..seems a little tight, perhaps open more buttons and show more of the tank

You could play with your silhouette more-- tight top, loose bottom, or vice versa. When the outfit is plain, you could use some accessory to add some accents.

I\'d wear this to target, not a night out!

Change the shoes if it is spring. The top looks great on you, but you need to add a little color. A bracelet, necklace, or earrings would be great.

With these jeans you might try sexier boots or shoes and a jacket which looks like this top with long sleeves in a different color.

Yes, accessories and a belt at your waist (not on the hips). The top suits you well.

Too casual. Jeans too tight and faded. Bland colors.

I think the top and the bottom are both too tight together - keep one but make the other looser/more relaxed and flowy. Also needs some jewelry to spice it up!

This looks like casual day wear. I\'d say open some buttons, maybe add a belt over the shirt?

very casual but I like it if that is what you\'re going for. Some jewelry could help jazz it up a bit, I would go with some earrings or bracelet.

granny-chic could be way more fashionable... of at least flattering.

I\'d wear this only if the \"night out\" is out to the movies. If it\'s what I think it is (dinner, bars, etc) you should change it entirely. Go dressier and certainly more figure-flattering. Color = good.

How about black pants instead of jeans?

I agree with the other comment about adding some jewelry to it. It looks kind of plain, which would be great for just haning out in the day or running errands. A little shine would help - and it\'s an easy fix.

Top and jeans are flattering, but the shoes look outdated. A new boot and some jewelry (maybe some long chain necklaces? and a chunky bracelet) would really update this casual outfit.

going out with friends, you should definitely go out and wear something flirty!

I would totally unbutton that overshirt and tuck those jeans into some boots.

Shirt fits very nicely, but neckline could maybe use a fun metalic necklace? A darker jean might make it a little more evening friendly. Also, when my jeans are a little too long, I ask a tailor to hem them - just tell the tailor to sew the original hem back on so you can\'t tell they\'ve been altered. Maybe a fun flat would also look cute.

waaay too casual for dinner in \"the city\". change the shoes- they look a bit dated. maybe a tank top shirt with an empire waist in a fun bright color and some long earrings, and a cocktail ring. the jeans are fine though.

Remove the black cami underneath & the closed toe shoes. Add a heel or, i love wedges with bootcut or flare jeans and some jewelry.

I would suggest something more dressy for a night out. If you are a jeans girl then opt for a darker jean for a night out with a fab open toe heel. If you love boots try a more pointy toe boot with a heel or I have seen boots with open toe that look great on. Remember just because it doesn\'t seem appealing on the shelf doesn\'t mean it wont look good on. Try it on just for fun you may be surprised...

the jeans are the wrong cut for your leg, you want to work witha a straight leg and not as tight. The shirt length is good, but too casual for a night out. This looks like you\'re about to hit the college scene. The shoes are too boxy and need to be a bit softer (rounder toe, even a pointy toe would work to extend the length of the leg). . .if you want cute shoes, that are also comfortable, go with...

Not sure which city this refers to, but I think you\'d do better with a more current shoe, and one with a higher heel. The pants are grazing the ground and your legs are shortened by the combo of the long pants leg, low shoes and long top. You want to LENGTHEN the leg, not shorten it.

I think this may be a bit casual but some great jewelry and different shoes could make it nice. A long necklace and some bangle bracelets as well as some more updated shoes with a more pointed toe and higher heel.
