I\'m not sure how old you are but this is a very young look - more for a pre-teen but not really appropriate for anyone over 13. None of these pieces work for a winter formal but if you were going to an ice skating party I think the scarf would look really cute with a dark peacoat and knit gloves that pick up one of the yarn colors.

I can\'t honestly say that I like any part of this outfit. I wouldn\'t suggest it to anyone over the age of 10. I like your idea of wearing a scarf, but even so, pick a different scarf. The color scheme in this one makes it look kinda cheap.

This would be a really cute spring outfit (if it didn\'t have the scarf) but since it\'s a WINTER FORMAL party I don\'t think you should wear it :(
