this was my mother's 30 year-old long skirt and a scarf as a belt.
You made it a cut summery dress, but try it with a darker color scarf or belt, maybe a dark brown leather. The contrast would show off your waist.

i love your creativity. that\'s a good idea. however, i think it would look even better with a more colorful belt, something to bring out the red or peach or mauve or burgundy in the dress. :)

Try it without the belt, it is not appealing to me. Add a simple necklace. Some sassy dangle earrings.
