wait! why should i change this?
  • this doesn't do you justice
  • there's too much going on
  • it needs something else
  • it's the wrong size
  • it's not right for this event
DONE!

good idea but the proportions are off. If you do a slouchy sweater bring your hemline up a bit. A short skirt will help balance the look. I love the boots but with the belt it\'s a little too matchy matchy. Try and a different belt. Maybe in totally different texture - beaded?

too many layers; loose the tights and boots and go with a heel

The sweater is too baggy paired with the slightly baggy dress. Add an element of something closer and better fitting to avoid looking sloppy. Try a slim fitting light denim jacket or a colorful small cardigan. Add a necklace as well and you\'re good to go!

adorable but might be better with darker boots.

Change the boots to darker colors- dark grey or black? Cinch the belt a bit for more of a waistline. Great otherwise though.

i would either change the boots or change the belt

I think the black tights and black dress need to be broken up. Try some bare legs, lower the belt so it hangs on hip more, and maybe a earth tone sweater or fitted jacket on top.

i really like this outfit, I would just suggest trying the belt around the outside of the sweater, which would help make the outfit seem trimmer...

Love it all except the tights!! It\'s too much. Bare legs (wear socks under your boots) would be better.

The look as a whole great, I wouldn\'t match the belt with the boots. Maybe find a belt with a different pattern (animal print perhaps?)

Love navy and rust brown together!

I think you look really good, but too winter for now. Take off the tights, replace with wedges and add a lightweight jacket instead of the sweater (maybe an army green color)

I like the sweater, the belt, and the boots. The dress looks just a bit too long. You look kinda rectangular, maybe add something around the neckline, that matches the sweater. infact, if you have a sweater that matches the belt better your look would be pulled together a lot better. Im just not sure I like grey with cognac color.

I think the skirt/dress should be maybe a little shorter... maybe a different color boot (gray)? Too matchy. But a good start!

Keep belt on the natural waist. Also this might look a bit better with a more fitted dress since the sweater is so relaxed. I love the idea though.

The proportions seem off. Since the boots are almost knee high the skirt should be slightly shorter, maybe an inch or two higher. I know this is a work event but you\'re wearing tights so it should be fine.

I like this but I think the boots should have a flat heel instead.

Iam not luvin the belt placement. Its more on your hip. Are you comfortable bringing around your waist? Your figur looks very straight up an down with it on your hip.

i like the concept, and the boots and the cardigan are great. try a dress that\'s a little more form fitting, or tighten the belt and pull it up a little higher. and lose the tights, or try a different color. otherwise, very cute :)

Great ideas but a little off in execution - trade the brown belt/boots for a color or metalic belt and a boot that fits better - bring the belt up higher

Boots are too big for your legs, perhaps if they were a little bit shorter and tighter it would work. I don\'t think the outfit make your shape stand out..
