I work at a museum and gallery in NYC and most people wear BLACK but I like color. How is this one? The gallery I work for has mostly contemporary art but we are relaxed.

Jeans, sneakers are great. I like the layered look, but the bright green colar shirt is alot of green with the undershirt. Maybe a navy polo instead?

this seems oddly like a little boy to me. (and i say this with a heavy heart because i too sometimes dress like a college kid instead of an adult.) but put something tailored into your wardrobe!

I love that the long sleeve shirt is striped! (hard to see, but makes it even better!) I think colorful is good, would also work with a plaid button up, sleeves rolled up, and no hat (otherwise too many patterns going on).

I\'m not a fan of caps in general, so I\'m super biased when I say to ditch it. But I love the rest of the outfit on you! Seriously, don\'t change it.

Thanks Marissa - it is more of an aqua blue but with the green striped tee - it made it more greenish. Yeah, the navy blue will work but HOORAY for color!

I think you look very stylish, and it would also look good with a navy polo. The undershirt would really look good if you wore a navy polo and a sand colored long sleeved shirt .

the jeans and shoes are fine. maybe change the polo to a button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up. and it could be a brighter color since you like color

Thanks to all the comments - raves and pans alike. I do have darker colored clothes and suits but to go all Commes De Garcons and Helmut Lang is so expected. The art is monochromatic on the wall already - just to add some life to the environment. I\'ll show you my best undertaker look though in navy or black. I did wear a button down and cardigan with gray striped dress pants and fedora to work yesterday...
