I think this dress is a good blank canvas. I would add delicate gold bangles and some brown leather pieces to keep it professional (as opposed to bold costume jewelry). Think ralph lauren. I.e.-

yes, great; but the shoes don\'t work as well as they might. maybe i can\'t see them: do they have black in them? i love the metal loop, but a shiny black shoe (with metal) might look better.

I probably would have shied away from baring shoulders in an investor pitch, but I work with a lot of government conservatives. But the dress fits you really well and I agree that it makes a really nice blank canvas.

This looks great...polished, professional and understated! What I can\'t tell is if your right hand is holding the dress in the back to pull it in or is just out of the way of the view of the dress....if it\'s the former: take the dress to a tailor and have it fit to you...this is a wardrobe \"backbone\" dress...you can go to this LBD over and over and it will never look \"dated\"...

Sorry, got cut off...wanted to add that a chunky chain necklace in silver (18\") would look contemporary with this...if you do go with a bolder necklace keep your earrings simple...no dangling or busy designs. If you opt for no necklace you can go with a bolder, \"statement\" type of earring. Consider investing in a cropped Jackie Kennedy style jacket ...perhaps with 3/4 sleeves to...
