Both seem a little much like spring for August, but if it\'s that formal, number 2 is best. Can\'t really tell what the jacket is, but make sure the patterns don\'t clash. Both are cute!

you look thicker in #1 than #2. if you were going to where 1 i would put some definition and accent the thinnest part of your body by putting a belt around your waist and not your hips. and maybe a cute cardigan or blazer?

One is way to casual to be attending a formal party. I like with number two the jacket. Pair it up with a pair of super high black pumps!
