You should go for something a bit more sexy and fitted. At the very least, put on some heels girl!

i think that a dinner in a fancy Manhattan restaurant deserves something more fancy. this dress doesn\'t look sexy on you. you can improve this look by putting on some shiny accessories and wear heels.

While I do love the color of the dress I think that the shape is all wrong. Pluse the shoes are too matchy matchy you need a pop of color. Try red or pink anything to spice it up.

looks okay, but i think it\'s kinda too plain.
you\'ll definitely add some jewelry right?
should add in a little more color too. it is a bday and not funeral afterall. oh and half up wavy hair would look good too.

I like the simplicity of this but it comes off a little too conservative for such a celebration. Throw on some high heals and a standout accessory!

it\'s nice but boring, put some colour on shoes or bracelets

Clean cut, classic look with a little somethin! Very nice. The skirt is a bit big? Some sparkly studs would also be great. Hair? Down is the most girly

Note from advice-seeker: You can\'t really tell here (sorry for the weak picture), but I have massive cleavage. I think that\'s all the sexy I can deal with on a Monday night...

And - darn - the v-neck opens up to a round crew-neck opening at my neck. It\'s really nice; too bad I forgot to photograph it.

I think it is simple and from what I can tell fits well and is sufficiently modest. You may want to dress it up with heels or if comfort and practicality are your primary concerns, a funky or sparkly flat sandal. Other than that, pin up your hair, put a little bling in your ears and GO!

I like the dress on you. It\'s sexy and sophisticated without trying too hard. It would probably look better with sexier heels, though. They don\'t have too be sky-scrapers, just a little more fun than the ones in this picture.

Nice dress! but you need heels, accessories, and chic hair.

I\'d add a belt and a colorful clutch, otherwise it\'s a bit too blah.

Fitted and more trendy. J.Crew\'s motto is to add a belt and a statement necklace. Think of things that dont necessary match.. like adding stripes and florals or sequins and stripes. Those are great rules to go by. At least add a belt and a bright colored heeled pump.

This outfit is NOT for a fancy NYC restaurant. You can do so much better for your body! You\'ve got a great figure. Add some color.

if it wasn\'t a super fancy place then I would like the dress for a birthday dinner but since it is fancy; 1. Heels 2. Sexier i.e. fitted 3. It\'s your BF\'s birthday make sure everyone knows that you are the best gift he has =) Stand out in that crowd. Go to renttherunway.com you\'ll love the options.

wait! why should i change this?
- this doesn't do you justice
- there's too much going on
- it needs something else
- it's the wrong size
- it's not right for this event
DONE!WHAT DO YOU THINK?
