It's for a lunch with a friend. I love this sweater, it's so comforting. The navy blue dress is about three sizes too big and I pinned it in the back and the sweater covers that.

The sweater is from ModCloth, the dress is from the Gap.

the sweater looks really comfortable, but doesn\'t really go with the dress. maybe pair it with a plain tee and dark jeans? try a small, simple cardigan with the dress

Consider changing the buttons on the sweater to smaller wooden or dark ones and wearing with nude flats and slim cut jeans. Right now the buttons are adding a lot of bulk to the piece and make it feel a bit clown-like.

I love both components of this outfit but not together, either go the dress with a clutch and heels or the jumper with jeans and flats and a thin strapped shoulder bag
