GO TRY IT ON is intended for personal use; for our members to share photos that they themselves have created.

The following Community Guidelines are here to help you understand what it means to engage with GO TRY IT ON. Your use of GO TRY IT ON is subject to our Terms of Use and to these Guidelines. (Inspired by All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten by Robert Fulghum.)

• Share everything. (Well, not literally. But share your looks and opinions!)
• Play fair. (You know what this means.)
• Don't hit people. (Don't be mean when you can be constructive instead!)
• Put things back where you found them. (Use subjectively.)
• Clean up your own mess. (Use subjectively.)
• Don't take things that aren't yours. (Don't upload photos that don't belong to you.)
• Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody. (If you offer someone feedback, try to be helpful, and if you are not... try and do better next time.)
• Wash your hands before you eat. (Keep it clean.)
• Flush. (Same as above.)
• Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. (Yum? Make this a happy, useful spot to share with friends.)
• Live a balanced life - learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some. (Share what you want to wear to dinner, a date, a movie, work, jazz class, band practice, rehearsal, your birthday, New Year's Eve, a basketball game.)
• Take a nap every afternoon. (Browsing GO TRY IT ON can be quite relaxing.)
• When you go out in the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands and stick together. (Love each other, hold each other up... help the community to work for you and your friends.)
• Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam cup: the roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that. (The lovely things you find at the back of your closet are not to be overlooked... and if you see something you like on someone else, ask about it!)
• Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup - they all die. So do we. (Enjoy and don't take yourself too seriously.)
• And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned - the biggest word of all - LOOK. (Looking great works too!)

some other things

Do moderate your content. You need to take responsibility for ensuring that what you upload is appropriately flagged. If your judgment proves to be poor, we'll moderate your account to match appropriate ratings for safe search and/or content type and send you a warning.

Do link back to GO TRY IT ON from blogs and websites! Showcase what a great sense of fashion you have!

Don't show nudity.

Don't upload content that is illegal or prohibited.

Don't be creepy, sketchy or pervy.

It's important that you understand the importance of moderating your content responsibly. If you don't feel that you can abide by our Community Guidelines as outlined above, GO TRY IT ON is probably not for you.
